Support for Learning Worker - Holyrood Secondary School - (Re-advertisement)

Job Description

Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit a Support for Learning Worker for placement within Holyrood School. The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role in providing support and assistance to young people between the ages of 11 to 18 with additional support needs to access the curriculum.  

The post is for 27.5 hours term time, to be worked Monday-Friday, within the school working days and the term time salary is £14,504.50 per annum.  

The main duties and responsibilities include the provision of care and support to children whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour.

This position also includes the provision of support with the supervision and administration of medication and intimate personal care.  

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
