The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role within the school environment in providing support and assistance to children and young people with additional needs to access the curriculum.
The main duties and responsibilities will include the provision of care and support to children/young people whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour. The position also includes the provision of support for the supervision and administration of medication and personal care. It is desirable to have Level 1 BSL signing in order to communicate with our deaf learners. We are an inclusive school and we work collaboratively to ensure we meet all the children’s needs both within the classroom and wider school context.
