FIELD OFFICER/SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Salary - £21,582.13 - £25,385.93
(rising to £28,607.33 on TC3 grade)

A vacancy has arisen in the Board’s Wick’s Office for a Field Officer/Senior Technical Assistant to survey properties for domestic and non-domestic Rating and Council Tax  purposes.

You will principally be required to survey, measure and collate data of property for the purposes of council tax and rating valuation. Essential duties will also include electoral registration activities such as door to door canvassing.

You will preferably have experience in the survey and measurement of buildings and land. Familiarity in working with the public will also be an advantage. Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills are essential. 

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Caithness and Sutherland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

You will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure check.
