This job role presents a unique opportunity working within the Highland Council’s lead agency model. Within the Health and Social Care Directorate the responsibility covers delivery of all Children’s Services including childcare health staff and allied health professionals. This role will be directly responsible for Children’s Social Work, Criminal Justice and Mental Health Officers. The post will also have responsibility as Depute Chief Social Work Officer.
You will be joining a high performing successful organisation located in a unique part of the country, a removal and relocation package of up to £6,500 is available.
You should have significant senior leadership experience, preferably gained in the public sector and be proficient in delivering strategic direction. This role will present you the opportunity to improve outcomes for all and make a lasting impact to the sustainability of the Highlands.
