Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful manager with proven ability to lead and inspire the Council’s Service Finance Team. You must have a professional accounting qualification and a clear and focused understanding of Local Government financial procedures. You will support the Head of Service to deliver robust financial direction through the development of policies, procedures and service plans also connecting with Working Groups and Committees where required.

You should have significant financial management experience, preferably gained in the public sector. This role will present you the opportunity to provide strategic guidance and advice on Capital and Revenue budgets assisting the Council to foster long term financial sustainability.
