This is a key role within the Council providing strategic business support to the Chief Executive and the Executive Team. The post holder will lead and coordinate transformation projects, manage the function of the Chief Executive’s office and monitor the delivery of the Council’s strategic priorities.
The post holder will require strong relationship skills, the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and must be able to demonstrate extensive experience delivering work programmes that align to strategic priorities and policy implementation.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £53,668.17 per annum.
Requirements
Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard.
