Midlothian Residential Services are delighted to be adding two part-time Facilities Assistants to our team. Our young people’s houses are based in Woodburn Court Dalkeith and Ladybrae House Gorebridge. The Job Holders will be required to work in one of these houses to maintain high standards of cleanliness as required by doing general duties. This will include kitchen, young people’s bedrooms, laundry and domestic duties within the home environment as required.


Basic reading is a requirement of the job to enable the Jobholder to read the instructions regarding the handling of chemicals and use of laundry equipment.

Knowledge is normally acquired through demonstration and familiarisation on the job.

Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also an essential requirement for this post.

Based on you working 12 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £6,562.16 per annum.
