Evidence is required of basic literacy and numeracy at Standard Grade General level or SVQ2 in Early Years Care and Education, or National Certificate unit in Childcare & Education, or equivalent competency, to enable the applicant to communicate effectively with staff and pupils, and provide sensitive support.
Applicants must be familiar with child development and able to respond to the needs of individual pupils. They should also have some prior experience in this field of work.
To be fully competent in the role successful applicants will be required to undertake additional training courses, once in post, eg: child protection, first aid, calm-training techniques.

Based on you working 16.5 hours over 39 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £8,345.89 per annum.
Based on you working 23 hours over 39 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £11,633.67 per annum.
