KNOWLEDGE

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is up for an exciting challenge, self-motivated and able to use initiative.  Rosewell is a growing school with a real sense of community .  We are looking for someone to work alongside our existing School Administrator two days a week and on a Monday you will be flying solo.  Support and training will be provided.  

 

Essential

Evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy skills such as a minimum of three standard grades level 3 passes or above to include Mathematics and English or equivalent.  SVQ 2 or equivalent is an acceptable alternative.

Some practical experience or demonstration of competency in the use of word processing and standard PC software packages.

Demonstrable competency in keyboard and clerical skills; SVQ 2 or equivalent is an acceptable alternative.

 

Experience in a similar office environment, with a working knowledge of modern office equipment would be desirable.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 15 hours over 39 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £7,446.05 per annum.
