An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Roads team operating in the fastest growing local authority area in Scotland. As an experienced engineer you will work with developers and planning and legal colleagues to deliver an efficient and effective Road Construction Consent process to standards described in the National Roads Development Guide. You will be familiar with the Road Bond procedure and comfortable leading inspection technicians and meeting developers on site.
Jobholders must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering and Full Chartered Civil Engineer status and have previous experience in Highway design, asset management and roads maintenance experience along with experience in the design of road safety and traffic management schemes.
Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Office, or similar software packages, together with knowledge of relevant quality assurance systems is also essential.
Experience of staff management in desirable.
