We are currently offering a range of exciting opportunities for innovative and dynamic newly qualified and experienced social workers, both permanent and temporary, to join our Early Intervention and Prevention, 0-12 practice, Family Placement and Family Support Social Work teams. A degree in Social Work and registration with the SSSC as a Social Worker is essential a Diploma in
Social Work with SSSC registration as a social worker is an acceptable alternative together with a Mental Health Officer academic qualification.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £36,117.53 per annum.
Based on you working 22.5 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £22,573.45 per annum.
The hours for full-time workers are Monday – Thursday 9am until 5pm and Fridays 9am – 4pm. Midlothian Council have a flexible working policy which can be discussed in interview.
