Driving between designated locations to carry out a variety of cleaning tasks within identified tourism spots, including the cleaning of public toilets, litter picking, ensuring litter bins are serviced as required, reporting servicing requirements of septic tanks and general liaision with site users.
Cleaning of public conveniences/portaloos.
Driving between designated locations and litter picking/ street sweeping/ bin emptying.
Dealing with the public and third parties.
General cleansing duties.
To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety are applied.
Demonstrable experience of cleaning
Demonstrable experience of performing routine maintenance and checks of vehicle
Must be able to demonstrate basic literacy for the safe use of cleaning products and the ability to understand and act on written instructions
Able to work on own under instruction and as part of team
Able to prioritise workload
Able to work on own initiative
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a van.
Able to communicate with colleagues and members of the public in a courteous manner
Able to carry out various manual handling duties and able to work outdoors in inclement conditions.
