During Covid-19, we are taking the opportunity to work in different ways and this includes how we continue to undertake our interviews. We are using Microsoft Teams to progress with interviews virtually and all you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

This post is based in the Operations team within our Building Services. Reporting to the Operations Senior Officer, you will be involved in maintenance work within North Ayrshire Council properties under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson. For more details see the attached Role Profile below.

Apprentice (4 year) Percentage rates

Your basic rate of pay during your apprenticeship will be based on a percentage of Grade 7, as follows:

2nd                           60%

3rd                            70%  

4th                             85% 

To be eligible for this apprenticeship you must live in North Ayrshire.

Our Workstyles
