Job Summary

During Covid-19, we are taking the opportunity to work in different ways and this includes how we continue to undertake our interviews. We are using Microsoft Teams to progress with interviews virtually and all you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

This post is based in Arran High School. Working within the Secondary Resource Support, you will support young people with additional communication, learning, emotional and support needs. You will assist teaching staff to develop and deliver a personal curriculum for learners centred on nurturing principles and focused on literacy, numeracy, interdisciplinary learning, outdoor learning, and wellbeing with access to mainstream learning where possible. As part of our Team around the Child approach you will work with internal services and community partners to provide the best outcome for learners, including their transition back to a mainstream setting where appropriate
