The IT Vision is for more responsive digital technology, giving both staff and customers the tools and services they need to operate in an increasingly interconnected digital world.

This role sits within the DigitalNL implementation programme, which is a multi-disciplined team leading on the transformation to Digital Services, looking both internally and externally across the Council and beyond.

You will possess considerable experience of managing realisation of benefits gained within a large public or private sector organisation. Experience gained within a local authority project management environment would be advantageous, as would a broad understanding of local government and operation of Council.

You will have experience of the development of benefits management strategies, benefits realisation plans, techniques, processes and tools. A professional, collaborative and client focussed approach will be required.

You will be a highly self-motivated individual, with a flexible, positive and proactive attitude. You will have the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have strong organisational and analytical skills.

The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good IT skills, particularly in MS Office.

A current driving licence would also be desirable.

This is a key role to support the design stage of the ambitious DigitalNL programme and is a fixed term appointment until 31 December 2018. This could be extended beyond the design stage if the implementation of the envisaged 5-10 year programme is approved.
