Cleaner– Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre
Grade CNL2, SP6 – SP10, £7.7418- £8.8857 per hour*

Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre is part of Culture NL Ltd, a charitable organisation that delivers arts and entertainment services, libraries, museums, community facilities and play services on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our busy caretaking and cleaning team. Primarily a cleaning role, this post fills an essential part of our delivery of high standard events to our clients.
Based within Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre you will be responsible to the Senior Venues Attendant for the presentation and cleanliness of the Lanarkshire’s premier entertainment and conference venue.
To be successful in the post, you should have previous commercial cleaning experience, demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of cleaning methods, be able to work as part of a team, have good interpersonal and communication skills, be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work practices.
Previous experience of using buffing equipment, knowledge of health and safety issues regarding the use of cleaning materials, and a cleaning qualification would be desirable. Some caretaking experience would be an advantage.
The current work pattern is 20 hours per week consisting of five four-hour shifts over seven days. The rota will vary on a weekly basis, with occasional changes to evening shifts to meet service requirements.
