An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Enterprise Projects team based in Fleming House, Cumbernauld.
As Enterprise Projects Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the identification, feasibility, development, design and implementation of all key council led physical regeneration projects that will create improved economic outcomes for North Lanarkshire residents, communities and businesses.
In this role, you will have a particular focus on leading the delivery of North Lanarkshire’s City Deal programme which is an exciting and challenging regeneration initiative, focused on creating the necessary infrastructure, business environment and employability support that will stimulate economic growth for our area and the wider City Region.
You must have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or appropriate professional qualification and provide evidence of knowledge, training and experience gained over a substantial period of time that is required to undertake this diverse role. With outstanding leadership, excellent communication and motivational skills, a talent for financial planning and management you will have engaged with large, complex business environments and have previous practical experience in project and programme management. Appreciation of economic impact appraisal alongside experience of HM Treasury Greenbook application would be advantageous to this post.
In leading the workplan of the Enterprise Projects Team and North Lanarkshire’s City Deal Programme, you will be part of a community of experts working together to champion high standards, best practice and optimum value for money across one of the biggest projects in the UK. You must be able to travel throughout the area of North Lanarkshire and the surrounding Glasgow City Region area to undertake the duties of this post.
