We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a proactive approach to work who are committed to providing a front line service to our tenants and who enjoy working as part of a team to respond to community clean-ups and recycling initiatives.
Within temporary accommodation and the towers, you will provide a reception service to service users. You will provide basic assistance to residents, undertake cleaning duties of the premises and control access to the building. You should have a flexible approach to dealing with a client group who may have mental health and substance abuse issues.
Caretaking, cleaning or security experience is essential for all Estate Officers and you should have experience of working with the public. Knowledge of CCTV systems, cleaning machines and cleaning agents is desirable but full training will be provided. You will be required to work outdoors, have the ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting and assist tenants and public at all times.
A driving licence is desirable to assist with estate management duties.
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.
Estate Officer (Accommodation - 37 hours (2 Posts - Airdrie & Coatbridge) and Estate Officer (Towers - 37 hours (1 Permanent and 2 Temporary - Motherwell) will work a 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern.
Estate Officer (Locality Management -37 hours (Wishaw)) will work a 5 day week from Monday to Friday.
There may be a requirement to cover various areas across North Lanarkshire Council.
