We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a proactive approach to work who are committed to providing a front line service to our tenants and who enjoy working as part of a team to respond to community clean-ups and recycling initiatives.
Within our temporary accommodation in Wishaw, you will provide a reception service to service users. You will provide basic assistance to residents, undertake cleaning duties of the premises and control access to the building. You should have a flexible approach to dealing with a client group who may have mental health and substance abuse issues.
Caretaking, cleaning or security experience is essential for all Estate Officers and you should have experience of working with the public. Knowledge of CCTV systems, cleaning machines and cleaning agents is desirable but full training will be provided. You will be required to work outdoors, have the ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting and assist tenants and public at all times.
A driving licence is desirable to assist with estate management duties.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
Estate Officer (Accommodation) will work a 4 days on/4 days off day/night shift pattern.
There may be a requirement to cover various areas across North Lanarkshire Council.
