We are seeking to recruit five temporary Self Isolation Support Grant Assistants to support the council in providing exceptional customer service standards in the delivery of the Scottish Welfare Fund – Self Isolation Support Grant.

The duties of the post will include decision making and administration of Self Isolation Support Grants.

To be successful in this role you will have moderate experience and a proven record of dealing with front line enquiries in a busy customer service environment, have well developed customer care, communication and IT skills and also a flexible approach to work.

You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, have strong decision making skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy when working under pressure.

Knowledge of council services such as social care, social housing and benefits or experience gained within a Department of Work and Pensions setting are considered desirable as is a relevant customer care qualification.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.  You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
