Employability Keyworker

3 x 35 hours per week
Temporary up to 31 March 2022
£24,127 – £26,408 pro rata (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

Opportunity has arisen within the Community Learning and Development team for three Employability Keyworker posts to support the work of the service in building and sustaining employability support. Working to the No One Left Behind agenda this role will actively promote a person centre-approach, supporting individuals increase their confidence, skills and knowledge to reach their potential and make positive and sustained future transitions.

Candidates should hold SVQ3/HNC or equivalent SCQF level 6 qualification in Community Learning and Development or related qualification and have experience of working in a Community Learning and Development, social care or health setting.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
