Summer Seasonal Worker, Quantity/Building Surveyor
35 hours per week
Temporary for 4 months – June to September 2023
£22,197 (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking for a Summer Seasonal Worker to join an established Surveying team within Neighbourhood Services and Infrastructure.
You will assist the Property and Capital Projects team to provide a comprehensive Surveying service, for both internal and external clients. This will include assisting with project management of small-scale projects, provide general support and assistance for project work, undertake the preparation of contract documents, under supervision and undertake site measurement, under supervision.
You will undertake duties commensurate with experience and in line with training goals.
You should be participating in a construction related course leading to HND or higher.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
