An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven member of staff to join our Business Support Team. 

In this role you will support the Senior Management Team and staff of the Campus and school by providing a professional and customer-focused administration service.

You will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a polite, friendly, professional manner and proven clerical and customer service skills.  

The Campus is open 7am - 9:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 4pm at weekends.  The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern including daytime, evening and some weekend work.  

Requirements

As a member of the Community Campus Business Support Team, you will be required to have:

Knowledge & Experience

• Reception skills experience.
• ICT experience in use of Microsoft Office packages.
• Cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of financial databases – DSM knowledge is desirable (training will be available if required).
• Ideally have a working knowledge of Integra and/or SEEMIS, however, training will be available.
• A good standard of education.

Customer Care

• Experience of working with the public and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrate you can work both individually and as a member of a team.
• Ability to deal with challenging situations in a sensitive manner.

Health & Safety

• Have an awareness of basic Health and Safety issues.

Communications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Flexibility

• Ideally you will be willing to be involved in school community life and school events/projects.
• Must be available for shift working within the campus opening hours – in particular weekend working.

Achievement of Results

• Excellent time management and ability to meet regular deadlines.
• You will be expected to contribute to an effective and efficient community campus.

Quality 

• Experience of quality monitoring processes.

Team Working

• Ability to work as part of a team, taking direction and working on own initiative.
• Ability to adapt to change.

Decision Making & Problem Solving

• Ability to implement policies and procedures.
• Experience of solution focussed situations.

• Good personal presentation.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
