£20,872 - £23,143
Casual positions available with immediate start
Now more than ever, we need people like you. People who care and who have the skills and experience to make a huge difference to people’s lives in their hour of need. Our work is more valued than ever and the importance of people working in the care sector has never been more visible.
Our incredible team across the Health & Social Care Partnership have risen to this challenge superbly, going above and beyond to support our critical services. We are proud of how we have responded to the most difficult situation we will probably ever have to deal with.
However, in the coming days and weeks we need extra resource to cope with the increasing demands. We need Social Care Officers to work across Perth and Kinross and can offer a range of hours and flexible work patterns.
Social Care Officers work with a multidisciplinary team including Community Nurses and Social Workers, particularly where people have more complex needs. This role requires team work and problem solving. You need to be kind, caring and compassionate with the ability to support adults with varying support needs with direct personal care. If you treat others with respect, empathy, patience, have a good sense of humour and are good at listening you would be right for this role. We want to continue to deliver quality care throughout this period and we need people with the right qualities who can help others.
SCOs will be supporting adults of varying needs with direct personal care.
You will be working alongside dedicated, experienced staff to offer you support and guidance. We are all in this together and no-one will be left without the support and protection they need, including Personal Protection Equipment.
If you have experience working in care then we would love to hear from you!
The role will be coordinated centrally and you will have the opportunity to work from local Health and Social Care Partnership bases across all local geographical areas. A Driving Licence is preferred.
