This role, based within the Local Taxes team will assist in providing an effective and efficient service to Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates customers 
and assist the Council in maximising its income from these sources. It will comprise a wide range of activities including the input collation and retrieval of information from various computerised systems in order to ensure the accuracy of Local Taxes databases and to identify and collect outstanding monies due to the Council. The postholder will also assist with a range of administrative functions conducted within the Revenues, Benefits and Welfare service.
This post requires someone with a positive approach to working flexibly, willingly and co-operatively. The postholder will also be someone with experience of using computer databases, who gives a high quality customer service and has good communication skills. The role will require the successful candidate to be able to carry out some work from home therefore the ability to work with minimal direct supervision would also be expected.
