The Community School of Auchterarder

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-driven individual to join the Secondary department of our 2-18 All-Through school, at a time of exciting change and development.

Working as part of a whole-school Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will develop policy and strategy and have proven experience in leading and motivating staff.

The Depute Head Teacher will be responsible for the continuous improvement of high quality teaching and learning, with strategic vision to meet current and future needs of our pupils. He/she will also lead quality assurance measures to plan, develop and monitor the work of the school and implement local and national objectives.

The Community School of Auchterarder is an all-through school, comprising Nursery, Primary and Secondary departments serving the community of Auchterarder and the surrounding district. The school is situated in a rural location, approximately 14 miles south of Perth, with good road networks to the rest of Perthshire, Glasgow and the central belt.
