COPECC / Goodlyburn Early Learning & Childcare Centre, Perth
We are seeking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Pupil Support Assistant to work within City of Perth Early Childhood Centre (COPECC) / Goodlyburn Early Learning & Childcare Centre (ELC) and to provide some outreach support via our Early Years Inclusion Team.
The role is to work as part of the wider ELC team, to support children with a range of needs to access the ELC setting fully alongside developing and supporting a range of play opportunities which reflects and responds to children's individual needs.
The ability to work in a team situation is essential and a flexible approach to working with young children is required.
Experience and an interest in working with children with a range of Additional Support Needs is desirable.
A willingness to undertake professional learning relevant to the post is essential.
The successful applicants must be registered with the SSSC or be willing to become registered within SSSC timescales.
You will :
- Love working with young children to support and develop their potential.
- Have an ability to build nurturing relationships.
- Have the ability to work in a team and use your own initiative.
- Have a flexible approach to working with young children.
- Have experience and an interest in working with children with a range of Additional Support Needs.
- Be willing to undertake professional learning relevant to the post.
