An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated General Assistant to join our support team on a term time basis.

Responsibilities

The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Operation of reprographic equipment, including collating and issuing printed material.

Assist with first aid duties throughout the school.

Office and admin duties as and when required.

Hospitality arrangements.

Monitoring of CCTV cameras.

Assist in Science & Technical departments and around school when required.

The Individual

You must be able to demonstrate experience of supervising/working with children either in a paid or voluntary capacity.  

You must have the ability to use email and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages.

You must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills.

Ideally you will have a current first aid certificate with experience in dealing with first aid incidents or be willing to undertake relevant training.

You must be able to cope with the demands of the post and attend on a regular basis and have the ability to promote the health and safety of children and others and comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.

You must be able to work both under own initiative and as a member of a team.
