Various Locations, Perth & Kinross area
Perth & Kinross Council is committed to assisting young people within the local area by providing the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge of work through our Modern Apprentice Programme.
We have some exciting opportunities across our services within the Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership with work settings based in Perth, Blairgowrie, Auchterarder and Aberfeldy.
If you are a truly caring person with a good sense of humour who can build and maintain a good rapport with others, this will be an exciting opportunity for you to go that extra mile and demonstrate the benefits of how being friendly and enthusiastic about caring for others can be. A genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people is essential.
The opportunity to become a Modern Apprentice and to work in social care will see you being given induction and training in all aspects of community care work across the Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.
There will be a requirement for you to work alongside the current teams to provide the best outcomes for individuals in both older adults and learning disabilities services. You will need to be prepared to do your SVQ2 in Health & Social Care while you are working in the team.
