The Infrastructure Squad within Community Greenspace are looking to recruit an enthusiastic modern apprentice on a Fixed Term Contract for a 2 year period.
As part of a highly skilled team, in this apprenticeship, you will assist in delivering a multi-functional repair, renewal and inspection service on all assets within Community Greenspace Parks, Open Spaces and Countryside Areas. This work will include working with Community groups, Park Users, Shaw Trust, Educational Establishments in locations throughout Perth & Kinross. You will undertake duties relating to the Maintenance, Repair, installation and carry out detailed inspections of all our infrastructure including seats, bins, fences, bridges, paths, trees, walls/dykes and any other Health and Safety issues that may arise from on-going assessments. You will also be required to undertake and understand basic Health and Safety responsibilities within this role including the operation of mechanical equipment and tools, Safe working practices and care of users & colleagues while carrying out these works based activities.
You will be required to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Facilities Services which will be delivered on a work-based bases. You will also be required to work evenings and weekends as agreed.
