Job Description

Play Assistants (Fixed Term until 30 June 2022) - PKC08128
£12,671 - £13,391 (This salary is based on 30 hours per week, Term-time only)
Various Locations Throughout the Perth & Kinross Council Area

Fixed term vacancies have arisen within various locations across Perth and Kinross for Play Assistants to support with play experiences for children in primary 1 classes.  

A caring, nurturing personality is required. The role will involve contributing to the development, planning and implementation of appropriate experiences within a play curriculum and during break times.

The successful candidates will be able to think 'on their feet' and enjoy a varied role in order to support children's wellbeing and learning. 

The Individual

The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

We aim to recruit staff who are enthusiastic, able to work from initiative and genuinely enjoy working with young children. Some experience of working with children is desirable.
