Primary School Support Assistant - PKC08112
£15,205 - £16,069 (Term-time only)
Comrie Primary School

As our new Primary School Support Assistant, you will have an excellent understanding of IT systems including Microsoft packages, Word and Excel which are essential.

You will have experience of working with budgets and procurement systems, and experience of SEEMIS would be an advantage .

Some experience of working in a busy school environment would be ideal, as would the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.

Supporting First Aid within the school will be part of your role, so a relevant and up to date First Aid certificate would be beneficial.

Having the ability to self organise and work from your own initiative is essential, as is maintaining an overview of the whole school calendar and diary.

A high standard oral and written communication skills is a priority, as is a high level of attention to detail.

The Individual

As the successful candidate, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be required to communicate with the whole school community, staff, parents and children.

Some experience of working with children and the ability to attune to the needs of children is essential.

You will be motivated and able to work without supervision, at times using your own initiative.

You will work closely with the whole school team including the Head Teachers.

You will be able to work to tight deadline and will be able to multitask.

Being a team player is a priority as is flexibility to respond to the ever changing school environment.
