A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the HR Services team as a Professional Trainee. You will learn and develop in all aspects of HR, including promoting effective employee relations in areas such as discipline, fairness at work, performance and sickness absence; as well as recruitment, workforce planning and transformation. The training plan will also include placements in our Employment and Payroll teams to provide practical understanding of payroll and terms and conditions; the HR Systems team to give experience of data driven decisions to enhance the learning across the HR teams and improve our use of workforce intelligence; and the Reward & Wellbeing Team who have responsibility for benefit, reward and wellbeing strategies and employment equalities.

You will have excellent communication and ICT skills. As a motivated team player, you will be supported throughout your development and training.

Essential for this post is a strong customer focus and a practical, “can-do” approach. You must demonstrate an ability to build credibility and to establish effective working relationships with managers.

You will have a degree or HND in a similar subject, as specified by the College.

You will work full time, alongside studying the HR Advanced Diploma In Human Resource Management qualification at Carnegie College, Dunfermline. There is a requirement to attend college two nights a week; Tuesdays and Thursdays and you must be available to start College on Tuesday 17 September 2019.
