Working as a key member of the Housing Repairs Service, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a comprehensive planned maintenance programme, across Perth and Kinross, to meet service and regulatory standards, legislation and current operating policies and procedures.
You will manage and lead a team and ensure the efficient, effective delivery of a quality service across the full geographical boundary of Perth & Kinross. You will report directly to the Team Leader and be responsible for delivering the team's objectives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
contract management; carrying out property surveys; collating bill of quantities; tenant and private owner liaison; management of the Tenement Management Scheme and programme and resource planning.
Applicants are required to have an appropriate qualification up to HNC/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a construction/property or building trades function.
In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are organised and have the ability to manage an allocated budget, are confident with use of technology, have good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills and a full driving licence.
