An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North Locality Social Work Team for a part time Social Work Assistant (21 hours). This post will be based in Blairgowrie and the successful candidate will work with adults requiring a Social Work Service across the North Perthshire area.
You will work with a range of partner agencies and services in various settings to support service users. In this role, duties include: carrying out Outcome Focussed Assessments, the negotiation of flexible packages of care, and the monitoring and reviewing of individual care packages.

You must have experience of assessment of Social and Personal Care needs and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of social work principles and values.
You must be qualified to Level 3 in Social Care.
We are looking for a Social Work Assistant who is highly motivated and able to work in a flexible manner. You will be required to manage a busy caseload autonomously whilst dealing with many competing demands.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent verbal, written and IT skills.
You must have experience of completing outcome focussed assessments and reviews in relation to social and personal care needs for individuals and their carers within Eligibility Criteria and Operational Guidelines.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of social work principles and values and have an understanding of Adult Support and Protection procedures.
Applicants must be qualified to Level 3 in Social Care.
You must have a driving licence and access to a car for work.
