Summer Student - Traffic & Network Team, (Fixed Term until 2 September 2022) - PKC08807

The Traffic & Network team are looking for a student to provide assistance in delivering a variety of projects.  This will include carrying out survey, design and supervision for a wide variety of schemes including but not limited to signing, lining, footway and carriageway projects.

The applicant must be studying towards (or have recently completed) a qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.

The Individual

You should be enthusiastic and be able to work in a mixture of office and outdoor locations, including on construction sites.  

Relevant training will be provided, however, applicants should be computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.  Experience in the use of survey equipment and AutoCAD would be advantageous.

You must have a full, valid, UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across the Perth & Kinross Council area.
