Our current roll is just over 800 pupils and predicted to grow for the next few years. We offer a variety of curriculum pathways for young people and have extensive support structures in place for our young people when they need support. If you are an enthusiastic, motivated professional with strong organisational and leadership skills and who strives to secure the best outcomes for young people then this may be the opportunity for you.
Our HE department currently offers BGE Cookery and Fashion and Textiles and, in S3-S6, national qualifications or National progression awards in the areas of Fashion and Textile Technology, Practical Cookery, Childcare, Health and Food technology; Cake Craft; and Life After School (including Food Hygiene REHIS Certificate). Currently the department comprises 3 members of staff but with a growing school roll, this high attaining department that puts learners at the heart of everything they do, is likely to take further opportunities for curriculum expansion and growth in future years. Although relatively small in size, the Department has a big impact on our young people.
