Community Learning and Development Support Worker (Permanent)

We are looking for CLD support workers who will be employed to support community-based activities throughout the year. You will be supporting our communities to be strong, with a voice and the capacity to shape and build on strengths and assets. Working as part of a team, you will work with individuals, groups and communities in neighbourhoods across Renfrewshire e.g: • Adult and family learning groups • Youth projects and clubs • Holiday programmes • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme • Community projects • Working with volunteers It is essential that you have experience in working with people as well as effective communication skills; positive and flexible approach to work, and open to learning new skills. It would be desirable to have any of the following: IT skills; specialist areas of work (e.g. drama, crafts; outdoor, etc), a driving licence and experience of driving minibuses (D1); outdoor qualifications, volunteering experience. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
