Early Learning Support Worker

 

 

Based in Bridge of Weir Primary School, Warlock Road, PA11 3PZ.

 

 

Renfrewshire Council are looking to recruit enthusiastic and caring individuals into the post of Early Learning Support Worker.

 

 

You will be part of a team assisting Early Learning and Childcare Officers in the delivery of early learning and childcare including supporting lunchtimes, working with individual/groups of children and the organisation of playrooms.

 

 

Although a qualification is not essential for this post you should have relevant caring experience with an ability and commitment to undertake a required qualification as stipulated for support worker category employed in day care services for children as detailed in SSSC Guidelines or be working towards a required qualification.

 

 

Applications are also encouraged from individuals that hold an SVQ Level 2 or NC in Early Years & Education or equivalent.

 

 

You will be required to register with SSSC as practitioners within six months from successful appointment to the post, if not already registered.
