Regeneration is at the heart of the Council’s work, with the area’s town centres, economy, culture and heritage at the top of the agenda to deliver high quality places for the area’s communities, businesses and visitors. We are expanding our award-winning, multi-disciplinary Regeneration team and need enthusiastic people with the skills to deliver our ambitious agenda to the maximum benefit of Renfrewshire. You will have a particular focus on project delivery and we expect you to have a passion for regeneration and an understanding of the inter-relationships and partnerships necessary to deliver successful projects and initiatives. You will support in the delivery of key actions arising from the Council’s Economic Strategy for Renfrewshire. As part of the Regeneration team this post will have a wider purpose of providing economic intelligence and analysis in the development, delivery and monitoring of regeneration projects. It is essential that you are educated to degree level or equivalent in Planning / Regeneration / Surveying or a related discipline. You will have experience in research and analysis of data; contributing to the development of economic and/or regeneration strategies; engaging and consulting with communities and a broad range of stakeholders; working in partnership with a range of interests to further research and the development of strategic approaches; knowledge of sources for economic data, information and new policy and the ability to programme and prioritise workload. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
