This post is based at Mile End Centre, 30 Seedhill Road, Paisley PA1 1SA.

This is a new and critical role remitted with both the operational delivery of care at home and, as part of the care at home management team, with the transformation of services. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we renew and develop our services to meet the current and changing needs of adults & older people in Renfrewshire. We have all seen over the last year the vital role care at home services plays in our communities. This role gives you the opportunity to be part of something special and to leave a lasting legacy.

This position suits someone with the experience of successfully delivering safe & high-quality services, whilst managing increasing service demands and managing change. You should also have experience of managing & leading multi-disciplinary teams, budgetary management and working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to leverage more from our collective resources for the betterment of services.

You will also have the ability to inspire & develop people, make better use of resources and contribute to the development and implementation of new ways of working. You will also possess a sound understanding of adult and older people’s services.

It is essential that you are educated to degree level or hold a professional qualification in Social Work, Health or equivalent. An SVQ level 4, registered Managers Award is desirable. This post is one of the occupational groups that require registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
