Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen within business support working in Social Work. The post will manage the Justice Services clerical staff and ensure the operational team has efficient and effective business support in place.
As a line manager you would help to lead staff through a period of change as we introduce transformation through Fitfor2024 as well as ensuring the daily activities are delivered.
Your key duties would include but are not limited to the following:
Assisting with data collection for the Caledonian System; Processing Scottish Court results to Scottish Government timescales; Liaising with third sector organisations, such as the Prison Service and Scottish Courts; Collating statistical information required by Scottish Government; Supporting Group Manager with H&S tasks; Invoicing and budget transactions, end of year budget monitoring; Responsibility for petty cash, processing orders and making payments for goods and services.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

Essential

HNC/D in a related discipline, or other relevant qualification OR equivalent relevant experience, knowledge and skills necessary to undertake the role.
