Scottish Borders Council, specifically SBC Contracts, are looking to recruit an Assistant Specialist Services Manager to support the delivery of all surfacing, patching and surface dressing works for Scottish Borders Council. Duties include evaluation, planning and programming of Internal and External projects to ensure the correct resources and materials are allocated in a timely manner.

HND/HNC level in a relevant discipline OR evidence of relevant experience and training
SVQ Level 4 in Highways Maintenance and Repair or willing to attain within 2 years of being appointed
Attain National Highway Sector Scheme Training Module M7 or willing to attain within 1 year of being appointed.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
