Role Purpose

As a new opportunity is now available within the Central Borders adult social work & social care team based in Galashiels.  This offers a great opportunity within a supportive and lively team to experience the role of Assistant Team Leader as part of career development. 

The post holder will work alongside an experienced TL/ATL management group to provide leadership to a busy and skilled adult social work locality team who undertake a range of statutory social work, adult support and protection investigations/casework,  as well as complex care management. The post is open to those with a registered qualification in Social Work , Nursing or Occupational Therapy. 

Essential

Applicants must possess a recognised professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
