Role Purpose

You will develop and deliver community learning and development programmes, primarily with young people, and build community capacity to assist in the development of youth work in a Borders wide setting. This work will be delivered in accordance with the agreed national and local policies and strategies of Community Learning and Development and Scottish Borders Council. The post will
Focus on Smoking Prevention work with young people in both School and informal settings.

Essential

A degree or post graduate level CLD/Community Education qualification which is approved by CLD Standards Council for Scotland or equivalent Professional Body.

Registration with CLD Standards Council is expected.

A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post.
