Role Purpose

We are looking for a Licensing Officer to ensure that the Licensing team continues to deliver an effective and efficient Licensing service. The post requires the interpretation of licensing legislation and policy in order to process licensing applications. This involves dealing with applicants, licence holders, objectors, legal agents, elected members and internal and external colleagues.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self driven ambitious person who will become part of a vibrant team situated in an area which provides a great lifestyle with stunning scenery, outdoor pursuits and with the city life of Scotland's capital city close by if desired.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role  you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

 

Essential

HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification or relevant professional discipline.
Continuing Professional Development covering a range of licensing work.
