Role Purpose

SBC are looking to recruit a Mechanic to join our friendly and highly skilled team at our Newton St. Boswells workshop.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that our vehicles are maintained to a high level, we are ideally looking for a qualified MOT tester or for someone willing to qualify as an MOT Tester, there is a standby roster which pays extra and overtime availability on occasions. 

We will provide staff training and development to support the role, we also offer excellent terms and conditions of employment including Local Government Pension & Life Insurance.  




Qualified motor vehicle Mechanic

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
