This is an opportunity for a 16-24 year old who would like to gain skills and knowledge within a busy Financial office environment. Modern Apprenticeships offer applicants the chance of paid employment combined with the opportunity to do training relevant to the occupational area.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with numbers, is a keen problem solver and has desire to obtain a career in finance. You will complete a Modern Apprenticeship Level 2 in Accounting.
Modern Apprenticeships (MA) offer new entrants to the employment market the chance of paid employment combined with the opportunity to do training relevant to the occupational area. They include the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications that help kick-start a career without having to study full-time. New entrants include school and college leavers, those with no previous work experience and/or vocational qualifications. As this is an apprentice post the job holder will be required to work in various areas and departments throughout the organisation to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of Accounting. This will be via on the job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding. As part of the apprenticeship you will be required to engage with a training provider to obtain the desired qualification of an AAT SCQF Level 5 Certificate in Accounting and have regular meetings with the supervisor and/or assessor.
A good general education - Minimum of 3 Standard grades Credit level or National level 5 including Maths & English
