To manage the Commercial Premises team in the core areas of Food Safety Food Standards Infectious Disease Health & Safety Licensing Smoking Legislation Private Water Supplies in relation to commercial premises Nuisance Investigations in relation to commercial premises
Degree / MSc in Environmental Health Diploma in Environmental Health (REHIS) or equivalent Completion of Scheme of Practical training (REHIS or equivalent) Participation in Continual Professional Development Experience of working within an Environmental Health service within a local authority or similar environment Experience of Enforcement action Experience of dealing with complex cases Ideally you will have some experience of managing a team however this post also offers an opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to gain valuable line management experience and be part of an evolving service.
