Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council has ambitious plans for the development of its social work services. Our Emergency Duty Team is a critical part of our service and due to the retirement of the existing Team Leader we now have the opportunity to recruit a Team Leader for this valued service. The Team Leader role directly manages and supervises an experienced and established team of out of hours social workers. Although the service works evening, week-ends and on Bank Holidays the Team Leader has autonomy and flexibility in their working pattern to meet the needs of the service. If you have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to provide high quality social work in a supportive and developing service then we’d like to hear from you.


Diploma Social Work/CQSW/CSS.
Registration with SSSC.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
